The unconference is a yearly session which allows ISMIR participants to have impromptu sessions/discussions on topics proposed on-the-fly. Each session could be a simple discussion among interested parties, a short position talk, or something else, like a demo, or a tutorial, or a very brief code sprint. The format will be decided at the beginning of the unconference, based on ideas submitted beforehand.
